Luring New Anglers

With fishing participation at historically low levels, we set out to make Zebco more relevant to more people by reimagining the iconic brand, and the fishing category itself, in a more contemporary light. Ironically, this involved resurrecting a TV show theme song from the 1950s. This business can be very counterintuitive sometimes.

Weekly contest in which fans could submit video of themselves whistling the Andy Griffith Show theme song. Well, it is a catchy tune.

Quantum is Zebco’s high-end tackle brand aimed at avid anglers, including some of the most notable professional anglers on the BASS Tour.

We’re often told that a rational sell isn’t as effective as an emotional one. I would argue that logic and reason can be powerfully emotive. Watch these spots and see if you agree.
